Straight out of Jacksonville, Florida odyssey combines the rhythmic sounds of funk with the unpredictability of progressive rock. Drawing inspiration from a variety of influences: The Mars Volta, Modest Mouse, Cursive, At The Drive-In, King Crimson, and Parliment and the Funkadelics. "... and this is my Odyssey", currently stationed in Gainesville, is hailed as one of the best live concerts to attend in Florida. Releasing their first CD "The Pigeon Orchestra" in 2004 a new album from "...and this is my Odyssey" is planned for early Fall 2005.
