GainsvilleBands.com Submissions FAQ

Gainesvillebands.com depends on the fans, venues and bands to keep the site up to date with all of the latest news and show information. Most things can be submitted in the submissions forum located HERE (you need to login to get there). But here's a breakdown of how to get the stuff to us:

News

Please send all news related items to SHOWS@gainesvillebands.com or just post it in the annoucements forum.

As far as reviews and reports go, we ARE interested in them. If you want to become a writer for gainesvillebands.com, email glypher at INFO@gainesvillebands.com and let him know what you want to do. We're not too picky, just dont turn in anything in crayon.

Shows

You can post all upcoming shows to the forums HERE (be sure that you are registered!). Or you can email the information to SHOWS@gainesvillebands.com. Be sure to include:

• Venue (if it is a house party be sure to an address AND directions
• Date
• Bands that will be playing

• Show name
• Time show will start or doors will open
• Prices
• If it is an all ages show
• any other details that people should know

Band Information

If you have changes to a bands profile just post it in the forums HERE (be sure that you are registered!) or email the info to SHOWS@gainesvillebands.com

To get your band logo added to the bands page just follow these steps:

1. Put a link to us on your website (preferrably with one of our cool banners)
2. Be sure your logo is 150x50 or something reasonably sized. (we can resize for you)
3. Post a link to your logo HERE or email it to INFO@gainesvillebands.com, along with a link to your website (if we dont already have it).
4. Wait. Approved logos will usually make it up in a few hours.

Links

If you have a business that directly supports the band/music scene in gainesville you can submit a link to your site via INFO@gainesvillebands.com. Again, all links will be up for approval.
