Anyone have any suggestions/experiences with a good compressor, particularly for a 5150?

I've got the BBE Sonic stomp and that thing is pretty sweet.

if you're not afraid to go with a halfrack unit and a bypass loop [easy to
make, or i could build you one for CHEAP]

the FMR RNC is really useful both in a guitar effects chain, and as a piece
of outboard gear for a home studio.

or, if you've got a ton of cash... nothing beats a teletronix la-2a
compressor... </joke>

the keely compressors are really nice, albeit expensive.

and tim is right, the black finger ehx is pretty damned impressive as well.
