Report Submission FAQ
If you're planning on sending reviews or reports:
Make sure it's about music
Some of the best stuff we get is about someone's "night" out on the town... the things they did the people they saw, the bands they listened to.
If you just want to send in something fun... go for it! The worst thing i could say is no.
Plain text preferred
I prefer to receive all reports in text. Because i'm just gonna copy your pretty formatted word document and paste it into textpad anyways. I will then have to spend about two hours making your format changes back to plain text. Think of this as a newspaper, and you're writing and article... save your "strawberry shortcake" font for your love notes.
How to get it here:
Send all reports to REPORTS@GainesvilleBands.com
be sure to include:
- The DATE of the show
- The PLACE it was at
- The bands that played
- your USERNAME on the boards
- your real name is optional, but some people like that listed as well.
- attach all pictures with the email. (name them something useful so i know where to place them in the report)
After it gets "reviewed" i'll give you permission to post it in the Reports Forum
