hey Glyph,

I know you probably hear this type of thing before, but just gotta say it... after watching this Gbdc of yours for about a year and a half, I'm truly impressed.  Despite whatever your critics may say, its a testament to your efforts and the power of the Web that this site manages, day after day, to contribute so strongly to the robustness of G'ville's music scene.  And when everyone starts to take it for granted, that's when you know you've created a bona-fide institution.

And now for my question...

I was wondering if there's a feature you could add to help keep the "active bands" list truly active.  I've come across a lot of defunct bands on the list, including "Rhythm Method" which my wife used to play with.  But these bands seem to persist on the list.  I was thinking, if perhaps there was some way to periodically send an e-mail to the band listing originators, requiring them to confirm that their band is still active, so that you could purge the list of inactive bands from time to time.  Anyway, just an idea.

All the best, and keep up the great work.

Hey GBdC,

We tried to add our band (Hours Eastly) some time ago and still haven't been. What else do we need to do to make it happen? We would really like to start posting our shows...

Thanks

Mark & the rest of Hours Eastly

I never came across this section before...

It's as if not one person who posted here read the first post.
