Truthfully, if someone not "in" the GB.Com scene read this board, they very well may think that we don’t really like each other.
If someone not "in" the GB.Com scene judged bands by the way the bands and their fans posted, lurkers would probably be uninterested in seeing that band or make other negative judgments about them.
A scene becomes a community through support and dialogue, not bragging, insults and competition.

Even the big bands feud.
It creates controversy and publicity.
Its inevitable, people aren't always gonna get along.
Saying that everyone should get along is like saying all girls should be nice to each other, and as we all know, Mean Girls is killing in the box office right now.

Any reason? Because 98% of these goddamn "feuds" come down to either narrow-mindedness or bad manners. Its dumb. Its soap opera bullshit. Calling any kind of attention to it is juvenile. Good polls can be informative, or silly, or whatever. But this one?

Are you fucking kidding me? Do you think we need this? That this helps? That its anything more than fodder for some drunk fucker's braggadocio? There's enough stupid empty drama in this town without encouragement or embellishment.
Its one thing when the random posters come up with asinine garbage. You will get that in any open forum. Maybe they were drunk, or maybe they're just like that. But if you're doing a weekly poll, and you're a MODERATER....
Really, nothing personal, but this is amazing, amazing bullshit.
